At TechStar, we not only repair tech devices, we also sell them.

Tech devices can be a challenge to get your head around and so you can rest assured that if you have any queries about your new device, its functionalities or should you have any accidents resulting in needing a repair, we’re on hand to give your device the utmost care.

The only refurbished devices that we sell are smartphones. We also brand new smartphones. Details of such is outlined in the product description.

All of our other devices and accessories are first edition.

Delivery takes 1-3 days. In store collection in store is also available.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for- one, like-for-like basis. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods. 

TechStar will take back WEEE on a one for one like-for-like basis free of charge. We also take back your old portable batteries free of charge.





All TechStar repairs are completed with a complimentary 6 month warranty. Our repairs are completed to the highest standard, by fully qualified tech specialists.

At TechStar, we’re dedicated to providing you with a fast and efficient repair service. Repairs can start from just 30 minutes with smartphone screen repairs up to 24hrs for express Laptop repairs.

No two repairs are ever the same. The more complex the repair, the harder we’ll work toward getting it fixed as soon as possible for you.

Our stores are designed so your can see into the repair centre and know that your device is cared for.

Each device goes under a series of technical tests to ensure your device is in full working order before we return it to you.

We need access to your phone to test the screen and functionalities of the phone, such as volume, microphone, speaker and camera before and after repairing your device.

We always recommended that you backup your device beforehand for security purposes.

We currently have a mail-in service available for customers who cannot make it into our stores to drop in their devices for repair.

We currently have a courier service available for customers who cannot make it into our stores to collect their repaired devices.

We will not repair your device until you are happy with your quote. On rare occasions, new devices can cost less than the repair and in these cases we will advise you on suggested next steps.

That’s ok, our tech specialist team are on hand to diagnose the problem and find you a solution for your broken device.

To have your device picked up by our courier, the additional cost is €10.

To have you device delivered back to you, the additional cost is €10.

We make sure to keep you informed at every stage of the repair process and will not proceed with a repair until you are fully happy with the repair price.

Diagnosing the repair costs a standard €35 if you do not wish to proceed with the repair.

Our team will have been in contact with you and issued you a designated repair reference number. Please clearly outline this, and your full name on the device package.

Once you’ve booked in your repair, you’ll receive email alert updates regarding your device repair. Please ensure to check your SPAM folder in your email inbox if you have not received correspondence from our repair service before.
