The iPhone 12 comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display that pretty much covers the whole front of the phone. It’s haptic-touch capable and has a sharp resolution of 2532x1170 at 460 pixels per inch, so everything looks crisp and vibrant.
There are three cameras in total. On the front, inside the notch, there’s a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera that supports Face ID and can also shoot 4K video. It’s great for selfies and has features like Portrait mode and Portrait lighting. On the back, there are two 12-megapixel cameras, one Ultra Wide and one Wide. The Ultra Wide has a 120-degree field of view, and the Wide has a faster f/1.6 aperture, so it handles low-light shots better. Apple also added some smart software features that improve photo quality, especially in darker settings.
The body is made from aerospace-grade aluminum with flat sides, and it’s got glass on the front and back. The front is protected with what Apple calls “Ceramic Shield,” which makes it more durable. On the back, there's a built-in MagSafe feature for easy magnetic charging. It’s also water, splash, and dust resistant (rated IP68), which means it can survive up to 6 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes.
Inside, the iPhone 12 runs on Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, which has six cores (two for performance and four for efficiency), along with a 16-core Neural Engine. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC (for things like Apple Pay), Ultra Wideband for spatial features, and dual SIM (one physical SIM and one eSIM).
This specific model (A2403) supports a wide range of 5G bands, n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, n78, and n79. Just note, it doesn’t work with band n71 (600 MHz) or mmWave bands like n260 and n261.
