AOC CQ32G4 | 32" Curved QHD Gaming Monitor — 180Hz, 0.5ms
The AOC CQ32G4 sits in a sweet spot that's hard to argue with — a 32-inch curved QHD panel at 180Hz with 0.5ms response time, HDR10, and FreeSync Premium. At TechStar, we think the 1500R curve on this one is particularly well-judged: tight enough to feel fully immersive at close range, not so aggressive that it feels distorted when you lean back. If you're upgrading from a flat 1080p monitor, this is a genuinely significant jump.
Main Features
QHD at 32" — The Right Combination
2560 x 1440 at 32 inches hits the ideal pixel density for a gaming monitor — detailed enough to look crisp from a normal desk distance, not so high that your GPU struggles to push frame rates. You get noticeably more screen real estate than 1080p, with improved clarity in textures, UI elements, and fine detail across games, video, and general use.
VA Contrast That Stands Out
The VA panel delivers an 80,000,000:1 SmartContrast ratio — blacks are genuinely deep, which makes a real difference in dark game scenes, cinematic content, and anything with high contrast imagery. Combined with HDR10 support, the CQ32G4 produces images that feel punchy and alive in ways IPS panels at this price simply can't match.
Backed by AOC
AOC's 3-year zero-bright-dot guarantee means the panel is covered against dead pixels from day one. The 3-year advance replacement service means a fault doesn't leave you waiting — AOC ships a replacement before you return the original.
