The iPhone 12 Pro looks a lot like the regular iPhone 12, but it’s a step up in materials, camera features, and performance. It has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, nice and sharp, bright, and edge-to-edge like the regular 12, but the frame is made of polished stainless steel instead of aluminum, which gives it a more premium feel.
On the back, the Pro model adds a third camera: a 12MP telephoto lens alongside the 12MP wide and ultra-wide lenses. This setup gives you better zoom and more advanced photo and video options, including Night mode portraits and improved low-light shots. It also features a LiDAR scanner, which helps with faster focusing in the dark and improved augmented reality experiences.
The front camera is the same 12MP TrueDepth camera found in the regular iPhone 12. It supports Face ID, 4K video, Portrait mode, and more.
Like the iPhone 12, the 12 Pro is powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, making it fast and efficient. It has 6GB of RAM (compared to 4GB in the regular 12) and comes with 128GB of storage, so you’ll have more space for apps, photos, and videos right out of the box.
You also get the same tough Ceramic Shield front glass, MagSafe charging on the back, and water/dust resistance (IP68-rated). For connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC for Apple Pay, Ultra Wideband, and dual SIM (nano SIM + eSIM).
This phone is great if you want pro-level camera features and a little extra power in a sleek, premium package.
